80% Of Nigerian Men Don't Use Condoms | And Women Don't Even Insist - SFH Survey.

According to statistics, 8 out of 10 Nigerian men do not use condoms. This was revealed by Bright Ekweremadu, the Managing Director of Society for Family Health, SFH. He said over 1.8billion sexual activities occur in Nigeria yearly, and 80% of them are unprotected.

Mr Ekweremadu said if Nigerian men were to use condoms, no supplier in the world would be able to afford the quantity of condoms Nigerian men would need. He said their research showed that young Nigerians between 18 and 34 years in the cities of Lagos & Abuja make the highest use of condoms.

"JAZZ MAN" IN PRISON FOR ALLEGED HOMO ACTION

A Makurdi Magistrates' Court on Wednesday remanded herbalist, Tarvhi Nyitse, in prison custody for alleged homosexuality.

Nyitse (30) resides in Naka in Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue.

Prosecutor James Zungwe told the court that one Terzungwe Yev reported the matter at 'D' Division Police Station on 16 January.

MADAM PATIENCE COMMENDS FEMALE MECHANICS

The First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, on Wednesday commended lady mechanics for contributing to the growth and development of the country.

Patience Jonathan gave the commendation when the mechanics, who were led by the founder of the Lady Mechanics Initiative (LMI), Mrs Sandra Aguebor-Ekperuoh, visited the State House, in Abuja.
