This is really sad news as one of Africa’s most talented actresses, Lesego Motsepe, best known as ‘Letti Matabane’ on South African/Mnet soap, Isidingo, has died of HIV/AIDS related ailment.
The South African actress who was also a motivational speaker and AIDS ambassador died on Monday January 20th, 2014, according to a statement released by her family.
Lesego was found dead at her home in Randburg, SouthAfrica, by her brother, Moemise, at about 11 in the morning at the age of 40.
The top actress set tongues wagging when on World AIDS Dayin 2011, she publicly announced that she was HIV positive and had been living with the disease since 1998.
Back then, she said she had come out because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of others after she suffered rejection when those close to her found out about her status.
